I just wanted to share a great experience I had working with Paul Hurst from the Montecito (Prudential) branch. Paul and I met under unusual and highly stressful circumstances. The borrowers he represented applied for financing with a lender they knew, and were unexpectedly declined just prior to their scheduled close date.  Paul kept the situation very calm, and immediately negotiated an extension with a full seller credit (bank REO incentive) intact, as the loan was transferred to me. I’ve always said a great Realtor knows financing, and this is true of Paul. He understands the lending process very well, and was able to educate the borrower, which is huge today, since the lending process is so convoluted and frustrating.
